FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON’T KNOW, I AM VERY IMMERSED IN THE WORLD OF SOCIAL MEDIA. It works well with all that we wish to achieve in promotions & marketing behind the Relentless brand, and I am pleased with the results, the interactivity and the benefits of the same.
We only have 24 hours in a day. And to duplicate ourselves should be every marketing professional’s want and desire. However, you cannot duplicate and then duplicate again; you only water down your impact in doing so. You dilute the intention of one man/one voice/one audience.

Facebook allows me to do this. And since I’m a film & video producer, YOUTUBE allows me to do the same, not to mention how Youtube has collaborated with Facebook so that uploading to Youtube also sends your post to Facebook, Twitter, etc. So, if all I did was create visual imagery all day (which is NOT the case) then that would be the perfect synergy. However, you know, I also write. And so Facebook has that option as well, to write, to incorporate pictures within the essay, and to post it for THOUSANDS of people, one time, with the option to repeat post and to share it virally.
I can also share longer videos on Facebook, as well as the tens of thousands of photos I’ve taken (as an amateur and a professional photographer). Hence, Facebook is the best of all worlds for me, Relentless Aaron, where I can share my truth with the world; a larger audience than even this website can achieve without, say, millions of dollars in promotion, such as news organizations have, sending their viewers to their sites constantly, and having a back office that fills those sites with continuous content.

I will not do battle with the tigers of media. Instead, I will keep a stronghold on my talents and skills, because I’ve already proven the “build a better mousetrap” theory over and over. The world has indeed come to my door step.

In the past months, Best Selling author, Relentless Aaron has out-sold all of his competition. That is, if you’re counting how many Urban Lit books are sold in Starbucks stores. With a writing career that began over 12 years ago, and a marketing campaign that launched in 2003, Relentless Aaron has been driving, speeding and hurtling down his own fast lane in the publishing industry. The savvy that he has learned in his writing skills has since transcended all expectation, having won the 2007/2008 “Author of The Year” Award at the industry’s largest book convention (Book Expo America), hosting the prestigious Wheatley Literary Awards, then conquering other levels of book marketing, from street sales in New York, New Orleans, Chicago, Ohio and Texas, to events such as the Harlem Book Fair in NY and the Bronner Brothers Hair Show in Atlanta. Eventually, Relentless came to call the web his home, where the Relentless brand dominates the search engines (over 6 million page views on MSN), social communities such as Myspace, Facebook, Ning, Shelfari, and YOUTUBE where he has produced over 300 videos.

All told, adding YouTube and other video sharing platforms to the media impressions in the New York Times, Time Magazine, ABC World News Now, on radio and in so many other newspapers and media vehicles, the author-turned-media mogul has netted an outstanding 6 billion (with a B) impressions and counting. It didn’t hurt that Relentless has managed to partner with the Bronner Brothers Corporation, UPSCALE Magazine, Billionaire-rapper 50 Cent, and Hollywood giant, actor-director Bill Duke for a forthcoming feature film for the blockbuster novel PUSH, Relentless Aaron’s 20th novel. The Thug-turned-real estate investor also endeavors towards becoming the hood’s avenger, something that Relentless himself has done for urban lit.
“Call it Urban Lit, Street Lit, Urban Fiction, Hip Hop Fiction, or whatever you like, best believe I’m that player you can count on. I’m that home run hitter in the dugout. Reggie Jackson, Hank Aaron and Sammy Sosa all in one man. Thing is, we’re all a team; all the Urban Lit kings and queens. We’re all advancing the lit game and readership has grown to unimaginable highs. I’m most ambitious in life’s journey, but I’m most humbled to be a part of literature’s infinity,” says Relentless who is currently massaging his 38th novel into existence.
Lately, the Relentless Aaron brand has partnered with regional managers in the Atlanta area, where he has recently settled. In October, Relentless appeared for a 3-day showing at Atlanta’s prized Cascade outlet, and was asked to return for another 3-day engagement in December. Subsequent to the Cascade appearance and the massive success earned, Relentless has moved into the Lithonia location with the brand and looks forward to further partnering.

Regional manager Tony Brooks (above) calls Relentless Aaron’s growth “Impressive” and looks forward to further partnering with the author, even incorporating the growing brand in stores that are not necessarily “urban.”

As many of you know who read my blogs, I had the honor of meeting Professor Preston King at a Starbucks in-store Dec 12th in Atlanta. Well, Mr. King invited me out to his home (gated, jazz music, wine–you get the picture) and then to a quaint gathering of Atlanta’s elite. Included in the gathering along with Professor King were Andrea Young (Andrew Young’s Daughter), and Dr. Richard Long, distinguished author and historian.. The gathering was hosted a woman named May (forgive me, May), the decendant of a famous painter. (More on her later.) Meanwhile, here are some flicks of my awsome Christmas Eve.

I have five books that i am afraid to put out but I have to eat. I am the first person in United States History ever to be convicted of a crime based on a book.. I need to use someone else’s name or something. give me a holla!

 

First of all, you are to be congratulated for your accomplishments. I’ve heard the term “homo thug” used on occasions over the years, and if you are the catalyst behind the (so-called) theme, then you’ve struck gold. Of course, that’s not content that I can get into (personally), no more or less than I can get into content relating to skinheads, Jesus-freaks or acid rock for that matter. However, I can advise you to write about your dilemma. Write an article, and then BLOG it in 200 locations on the web. There seems to be a humanity issue here, so the ACLU or a Human Rights organization might spearhead your efforts. Most likely, you will easily find a gay rights organization to get behind you. In either case, it will be a less-desperate effort than your letter hints at. You should not go around pawning your work when it deserves quality attention and masterful energy (yours). If you need to eat, write up something spectacular like a one page synopsis of “THE EVOLUTION OF A HOMO THUG.” Include a poem or something artistic so that travelers and tourists (some thing) will be enticed. Then make pink & blue copies and go sell them on the corner of 42nd

street and Broadway. Or down in Soho. You’d be surprised how much energy and support you’ll drum up; especially if this is your passion. At the days end, you will have made an impression upon 500 people. But, you’re expecting between $1. and $5 from 20 of those 500. That’s way more than a days pay for a lot of folks.

That’s my word, and I’m stickin to it.
