I realized something recently; where it relates to WRITING/PUBLISHING/STREET MARKETING/MULTI-MEDIA PRODUCTION, and EARNED IMPRESSIONS/ ACKNOWLEDGEMENT for all of the above, I am the LEADER, CHEIF, COOK & BOTTLE WASHER. Nobody in this business can claim ALL of the above. And, as much as I love to do it all, I’ve also been fortunate to MASTER IT ALL. Pick any TOP URBAN LIT AUTHOR, and they DO NOT have the skills that I possess. There’s that AND my 3-POINTERS! (I digress)
But what is my point, you ask? Well, for one I often drop jewels relating to these various areas, whether its on video or written as a post. But, being TOTALLY HONEST? There’s no way for you to apply the general information to your SPECIFIC GOALS. FOr instance; you’re looking to publish a COOK BOOK, something my friend Champaine Palumbo might want to do; then something like that would not be formatted like the books my friend Milton Davis writes. Champaine cooks and fuses that with her love for music. Milton writes children’s books that are historically-based in a fictional/afrocentric sort of way (right Milton? Hope I’m getting that right!) But, you would find neither creator on the streets selling their books like my friends Brad Bathgate or Treasure Blue might do, because those brothers are focused on the working class. Sure, they will accept anybody’s purchase, but they know exactly who their market is; the streets and those who walk them, as well as those who dare to. Hence, I could not give the same advice to you if you were to market your books in the street, as I would to those who love to cook. That’s DIFFERENT ADVICE. But, it’s advice that I’m equipped to give. Naturally, giving advice comes from experiencing and having successfully mastered those experiences. Add to that, my level of awareness, and it speaks to my opening statement, about me being the LEADER. Now, if you don’t call on me, then you might have plenty of dough-rae-mi like my friend Russell Simmons who can delegate & outsource such tasks to those individuals who master those specific areas. However, in the end they’d all hafta come together as one, before russell, for the final decision. Is that all accessible to you? Or are you gonna call on a pro? Now, I’m not the ONLY PRO. I’m just one of the fortunate ones who have earned the GREATEST NOTORIETY for the same. My man Hustle Simmons, aka Hotep does a lot of what I do. Has accomplished great things here in Atlanta and beyond. However, I believe he would also tell you that LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION is sure nuf the ace card in connecting the dots. And you just can’t be everywhere all at once. I’m sure if he was up in New York, doing what I was doing, it would be HIM in the New York Times, Time Magazine & on ABC World News Now. It might be HIM that has been on the Michael Baisley show a dozen times, and not me, since Baisley. (*I say the Baisley name in jest because a lot of people mispronounce his name. So why I can’t be one of them? But seriously, Baisden started his show in New York. I use to CAMP OUT at the places he appeared at! I use to attack (market to) his audience, hand-to-hand, face-to-face. All that started in New York. As much as there are indeed resources in ATL, the publishing, music & entertainment world is “up top” in NY. But timing is also important. Things change! New York can no longer claim it all. The South has come alive. A lot of work to do, and a lot of ignorance to clean up, but it’s happening. The haves will still take advantage of the have-nots; if only the have-nots would learn to do a web search! Research! They would not be taken advantage of! Why Relentless? Because AWARENESS begets CONSCIOUS BEHAVIOR! I know a lady who got taken for 4k down here, simply because she didn’t do her research! Yes-yes, that could also take place in the big city, but trust and believe that there are more information resources there; enuf that you’d hafta be BLIND to miss them. Ignorace is everywhere, indeed.

I know you’ve heard “EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON.” And to THAT I hafta say that EVERYTHING iS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. So, you now see a shift in entertainment; just as the Internet has become the new TV, and as Cassette tapes have given way to DVDs, so too has HOLLYWOOD’S energy shifted. So-called HOLLYWOOD is no longer the Goliath with ALL THE CHIPS. Tyler Perry has chips now. Tim Reed has chips now. And there are so many others who are eating from the once upon a time monopoly that HOLLYWOOD once claimed. NO MORE! Creators of bootlegs, Internet torrents and those that support it are eating or saving money now. You can make a movie in a day, with little or no money today. All you need is time, some experience and some friends. What? Have no money and still want to be entertained? Well, HELLO YOUTUBE! http://www.youtube.com/rel

Want to learn how to be an exterminator? A Carpenter? An astronaut? YOUTUBE, YOUTUBE, YOUTUBE. But, unless its a RELENTLESS YOUTUBE VIDEO, you STILL will not earn the depth of knowledge and information that you would get from sitting with yours truly, RELENTLESS AARON for an hour. So!
